Lighthouse Solutions serves an ever widening range of companies and industries, including financial services, manufacturing, construction, commercial real estate, hospitality, transportation and education, and ranging from start-ups to very large, multi-location companies. We have provided products and consulting services across all the areas described herein, sometimes in coordination with our clients’ HR teams, and sometimes on a fully contracted basis for clients with few or no internal HR resources. In addition, work we’ve done with individual clients have typically involved resume development or enhancement, career coaching, and written communications training.

Sherrill Crivellone, SPHR, CCP
Founding Partner
Sherrill Crivellone has over twenty years of experience as a dynamic and impactful human resources executive and consultant, both internal and independent, with an emphasis in talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development. From working with international financial services firms — UBS, Citadel and Magnetar Capital, to manufacturing firms and technology start-ups, Sherrill has the multi-industry experience, skills and passion to share executive vision and work with managers to maximize their people, performance and productivity. Sherrill holds a Master’s degree in education and is a certified SPHR and CCP professional. Sherrill founded Lighthouse Solutions Ltd. in 2002 and has dedicated herself to helping business owners and managers meet and overcome the various HR-related challenges that can interfere with their ability to meet and exceed their business goals and objectives. Sherrill also serves as a coach and/or mentor to current and emerging leaders, career seekers, and other HR professionals. Finally, Sherrill is a published author and public speaker on a variety of topics.
Mona Vaccarella
Senior HR/OD Consultant
Mona Vaccarella has over twenty-five years of experience in executive human resources management with internationally acclaimed firms. She excels in leading organizations through the steps needed to implement programs in organizational redesign, compensation, recruitment and merger/acquisitions. Over the years, Ms. Vaccarella has orchestrated the development of tools, which provide metrics for management to assess the balance of skills and future competencies needed in their workforce. Mona possesses a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
David Zyer
Senior Business Consultant
David Zyer has over 30 years of experience as a strategic business leader in both entrepreneurial firms and large global corporations. Dave is a compelling force in helping companies resolve organizational development challenges at all stages of an entrepreneurial firm’s life-cycle, and in executive coaching of C-level executives, founders/owners and their direct reports.
Joe Kambich
IT Infrastructure / Business Continuity Consultant
Joe Kambich has over 25 years of experience as an IT manager and consultant. He has a strong track record of building and maintaining complex high performance mission critical information technology and mechanical infrastructures, systems and teams for financial services companies, such as Citadel Investment Group, Magnetar Capital LLC, and the CBOE. Joe offers valuable insight and guidance in the development of new business infrastructures and ongoing business continuity plans. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Southern Colorado.
Terry Madl
Project Management Consultant
Terry Madl is an experience project manager and franchise development expert with over 20 years of experience. Prior to striking out on his own, Terry was a key manager with Swiss Air and AIT Logistics. He has published one novel and is currently working on his second.
Donna Mazalin, PHR
Recruiting & Outplacement Consultant
Donna Mazalin is experienced in corporate recruiting, employee retention and outplacement services. She began her Human Resources career with such diverse organizations as the Empress Casino and Levy Restaurants at McCormick Place. Donna is PHR certified and has worked on behalf of many other global industries, including telecom, consumer product goods, manufacturing, software development and mobile technology for military applications, since starting her own firm, Sundance Group, Inc., in 1998.
Tom Crivellone
Market Development Director
Tom has over 25 years of experience in sales, management and small business ownership. He has been a successful business broker and consultant to entrepreneurs and other small business owners. Tom has sold products and services to businesses, such as background music and electronic phone and messaging systems. Tom heads up the sales and marketing effort for Lighthouse Solutions, Ltd., in addition to his TFB Advisers sound system consulting and installation work for small businesses throughout the Chicago area.
